Ignotus is a hair thrash melodic metal band from Panama. The musical style of the band has elements like a mixture of melodyc vocal harmonics and powerfull growls in the choirs, loud and metal master distorted guitar riffs, influenced by bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Alice in Chains and Héroes del Silencio, among others. The word "Ignotus" is a latin word that means "unknown" and states the underground spirit of the band member's way of thinking: to make raw music from the heart and guts, not just of being popular,sell outs, comercial or mainstream.
